Gabriela is a single mom pursuing a degree in Nursing with clear goals to work in pediatric oncology. At 15, Gabriela came to the U.S. from Mexico, learned a new language and culture - and overcame bullying. As a mother of 2 children, Gabriela wants to teach her children that they are able to do anything and that it is never too late to continue your education.
